Monday Montage: Where’s the Sun?

Today the sun has hidden itself from us and we have been in the middle of a tropical storm all day. It happens, but not that often. I still exercised outside, let Z swim in her kiddie pool (in our garage), and went about our errands as though the sky wasn’t falling.

Now if it is still raining tomorrow, I may become a bit stir crazy and not be so positive… but we won’t dwell on that right now. For right now I am going to enjoy this rainy day and use it as an opportunity to put on my yoga pants early and read a book… Okay, I will put on my  pajama’s and then after Z is fast asleep, I will read a book. Well, if I am being totally honest, I will watch TV while playing “The Simpsons Tapped Out” on my phone. Saying that I am going to read sounds so much better though, don’t you think?

Wow, I totally digressed with this post, I will now get back to my regularly scheduled post showing you with photos what I did and saw in the past week. Thanks again for reading and Happy Monday everyone!

Z and I went on walk around our neighborhood to pick flowers for a bouquet. She, and I, were fascinated with this tree.

As we were walking, Z yelled, "Look mom, he has a face!" It took me a second to realize that she meant this garbage bin.

A day at Nai Harn beach. Chad and Z playing in the waves.

Chad and Z painting our Halloween Jack o' Lantern. We had to use a Thai pumpkin, because the only small orange pumpkin I could find was almost $65 (US)!

We ate at a western food restaurant yesterday and the server really wanted to take our pictures. We said ok, and then he proceeded to do a full photo shoot of us through leaves with hearts cut out of them. This is one of the ones taken of me. It was a bit awkward, if you can't tell from my very fake smile.

It rained so much today that it flooded in parts of Chalong, Phuket. It definitely made me appreciate the fact that I was driving a truck and not a scooter.
