Monday Montage: Plans and Days Off

Our time in Bangkok did not go as planned, but it was not a total waste (3 PAIRS OF SHOES!!!!). We really enjoyed walking around the city again. Most of my pictures in today’s Monday Montage are from our time there.

On a completely different note… There are times in my life lately that have been so busy and crazy that I feel like I haven’t breathed in a week, but yesterday was a nice day where I did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! It was a nice reprieve. I feel like traveling long term was more relaxing than running a home and being settled… Maybe that means it is time to go out on the road again? Or maybe it means that I should just stop scheduling so many darn things everyday.  Regardless, life is awesome and I love where we are and what we do. Everyday is a blessing and I am so thankful to be on this beautiful earth.  Thank you everyone for reading, commenting, and making this journey through the world and our life even more exciting and fulfilling! Happy Monday everyone!

Chad told Z he wants a TV with this size screen... I think it may be bigger than our whole house though. :)

No trip to the mall would be complete without a photo-op of some kind. Here is Z with the Line bear. For those of you that don't know, Line is an app that you can send texts, photos, and videos for free to other Line users. I use it and have grown to love it.

(Line did not ask me to recommend them, well, besides having a photo op at the mall to take pictures in I guess).

Now it’s your turn! What do you do to keep from feeling too overwhelmed or busy? I use a notebook for a written to-do list, how do you keep yourself organized and accomplished during the day? Do you take a day here or there just to do nothing to regroup? Leave a comment and join in the conversation!

It is nice to do nothing sometimes. This three day weekend has helped me cross so much off of my to-do list. I feel so much better.

I love “home” days. But my kids are getting the stir-crazies. Definitely a to-do list, but sometimes I’m too busy to even make the darn list! That would be a bit TV up there! Could you imagine having a house that big? Monster house.

I cannot imagine a house that big, apparently Chad can lol. 🙂
I also get stir crazy when I am home all day long. I have to force myself to relax and not putter and clean and binge eat out of boredom 🙂 really stay-home days are a lesson in self control for me haha

I’m chuckling picturing that behemoth house!

I, too, can do the same things you do when I stay home if I don’t “take charge” of the day. Lately, I find the baby “takes charge!” So I’m puttering and grazing all day!

We, also, never buy anything from Siam Paragon. Well, except for burritos. There is always enough for burritos.

I’m enjoying an extended weekend break from work now and am just trying to catch up with online stuff now! 🙂

I seem to loose my voice, which forces me to stay home from work. Not the very best strategy… But my summer holidays are almost around the corner, and before them we get some visitors from NZ and attend a wedding in France, so that will give us a fun change to the daily life!

What do I do to get things done? You should see my calender! Yes, I have an old fashioned paper one and it is my life. I find it good for time planning to see it all at once. And that is the one place I won’t loose my shopping lists etc from. But most people faint when they see it, and do not believe that it actually is very organised 😀

I keep wanting to get a wall calendar so that it can be seen all the time and remind me of our schedule… Oh friends and then France! I hope you will write about it 🙂

We have wall calendar for the family schedules (a life savior) and another for the kids with drawing symbols showing daycare days, when dad is off working, when hobbies or birthday parties or play dates are on.

I’m sure France will offer good themes for posts 🙂
