Monday Montage: An Oasis on the Island of Phuket

I have been doing some creative things away from the computer lately! Woo Hoo! A friend of mine here in Phuket owns and operates an awesome business where she facilitates and schedules different types of classes at her little workshop and around the island.

I have now taken a class in clay work and a series of three classes to learn acrylic painting at Oasis Ed. Phuket and am immensely stoked about it.

Travel takes some creativity and since I was blogging while we traveled, I never felt like I was being creatively stifled. To be completely accurate, I have always felt like I was not a creative person. It was not until we settled here in Phuket that I felt like I needed to do something with my hands that wasn’t just typing keys. Oasis Ed. Phuket is the place that has helped me with that! I will just share one of my paintings, the one that I actually like, I call it “tomatoes”, obviously creativity in titles is not in the cards for me…
