MM: Mundane or Not

Life is life no matter where you are. It can be as exciting or as mundane as you choose. The place you live may provide some initial differences, but as one lives in a place, normalcy sets in. This is why I often forget to write about things that may seem interesting and different to those that don’t live here. My upcoming post on Friday will take that into account as I have gotten some amazing questions to go off of from the wonderful Terri at The Homeschooling Doctor. Thank you,                                                              Terri!

I will get right to the pictures now! Happy Monday everyone!

My Thai homework. I think Thai lettering is some of the prettiest in the world. I am now able to read most Thai words, I have little idea what any of them mean but I am pretty happy with my progress so far.

My hair before my keratin treatment, I finally caved and decided to do something with my hair after growing it out for the last two years.

The after car selfie picture. It is not this straight anymore, but much less curly and frizzy. I love it!

Getting my oil changed at the moment, took in the dry cleaning and getting my furnace serviced. Yes a pretty mundane Monday. 🙂

My gosh. A keratin treatment is a must do in Thailand. Even in SF my curly hair is making me crazy.

I am really surprised that it worked at all with the humidity here. But now I have wavy not frizzy hair. I love it. I wish I had done it a couple years ago!

I love the keratin look! It’s lovely! I had no idea there was such a thing! (My hair is getting longer, ever so slowly.) The Thai workbook photo was so much fun. It is beautiful lettering. How often do you practice? Do you practice speaking ever? Is church on the iPad? And oh, sun. Oh, the pool. Trying to calm the jealous bug here… Questions? Who asks questions?

Hahah! I love you questions Terri! Sometimes I feel like they are what’s keeping this blog going. 🙂
We go to Thai class twice a week and have homework after each class. I am slowly starting to speak Thai with Thais… Well trying to anyways. Eek!
It was actually a bible app while we were listening to the lecture/sermon. 🙂

Classes two times a week? That’s a lot! That’s great.

You’re just so lucky to travel the way you do. Not that I’d trade my life at all! But I do look forward to one day traveling like you guys.

This Monday I went to the gym, wrote an email to my coaching group, updated my Life Coach Office web site, took my little nina to the playground and for ice cream, did groceries, dinner with he family, watched 2nd half of the Matrix and read a few pages of my new favorite book (The Power of Now). An excellent day! – B
