Monday Montage: Zoë Edition

I have still been struggling with this flu so I have not been doing much outside of the house. Which means that I have not taken pictures outside of the house really. Which means that you get to see all my recent cute photos of my sunshiny happiness, my daughter Zoë!

I am heading to the doctor hopefully tomorrow to get that full work up I had talked about in my post last week, so cross your fingers, pray, visualize, or whatever else you choose to do, that I come out with something easy to fix! Or something to fix at all… who knows it may just be a mental thing and my posts will have to be what it’s like to be in a Thai sanitorium. That would be an interesting adventure!

Anyways, on that note, here are the pictures of my beautiful daughter that always makes me smile… hopefully she will make you smile, too!

Chad bought Z a bouncy reindeer, who she promptly named Sven (like in the Disney film Frozen).

What do you do when you have a lot of toilet paper and no energy to leave the house... you turn your daughter into a TP mummy! I don't know who had more fun, me or her.

And when you are done wrapping yourselves up in the TP, its wonderful to use it as imaginary snow to make snow angels! Those who live in tropical areas have to make snow out of what's available.

Z's 3rd Birthday Cake for her birthday party... It was an ice cream cake from Swensons and, boy, was it yummy!

And here is a cute picture of me trying to alleviate the massive dark circles that seem to have followed me around since having a baby 3 years ago. It did not work... maybe I should do it everyday or something.

And last one, a highly inappropriate toy here that must be popular enough as it seems to be everywhere...

It is always a treat to see pictures of the most adorable Zoe, but sorry you are still feeling punk. 🙁 I will be praying they are able to nail down an easily treated source of your illness. Perhaps it’s homesickness? (your childhood home) tee hee. I hear you are supposed to tape those tea bags on and go do errands in them to have it be truly effective. 🙂
As an aside; how do you make the umlaut over the “e” from a laptop?

Haha, mom you make me laugh… I may have to tape those tea bags down. Haha
On my Mac I just have to hold down the letter for a bit and a list of options pops up for each letter.

I can do that on my iPad but haven’t figured it out on my laptop. Maybe I just need to hold it down longer. :-/)

It may just be on a Mac (you may want to google and see if PC’s work the same way). 🙂

Not sure if it would help but im looking into st johns wart and b vitamins to help my moodiness and energy levels. Also l-tryptophan. Haven’t tried them yet and it takes six weeks for the full effect so itll be a while before i can let you know how effective they are. On a different note, as worlds worst aunt and sil, happy (very belated) birthday Z and jen! I know as we get older bdays arent something to jump for joy for but 3 is a mile stone! That cake looks ahmazing! Mmmmm….cake….ghahhhh(homer food drool) 🙂

I just started taking a multivitamin with all the b’s, zinc, and iron as well as the other things. I just started them yesterday so I will let you know!
Thank you for the birthday wishes, as you know I win the worst aunt award, I am horrible about remembering all the birthdays on the Mitchell side of the family (I excuse myself because there are sooo many hahah).

Here’s to feeling better! (And you get a gold star for that great TP mummy idea. I’m sticking that in my back pocket for a rainy day.)

Glad you’ve got the appointment lined up. Having said all that last post about the mental fog of childrearing (I stand by it) we have been at the doctor’s ourselves this week and we have chronic upper respiratory tract infections. It’s a low-grade grumbling infection with symptoms waxing and waning. I’m feeling better since starting the antibiotics already – so it definitely could be something physical/disease-related as well! Always good to check.

Hmmm… Maybe that’s one of the things I should ask about… Sounds similar. I’m glad you are feeling better! I will let you know what the appointment says on Wednesday 🙂

Mycoplasma, to be more specific. You could definitely ask – it’s a blood test to confirm though.

I am getting blood work, chest x-Ray, the whole shi-bang (spelling?) tomorrow so I will ask them to test for that. 😉

Sorry you are still not feeling well :(. I hope you get some clarity at the doctor this week. But your little girl is simply adorable. At least she can make you smile even when you are down for the count!
