Am I the only one that gets holiday blahs when it comes to writing (or anything else for that matter)? I have been feeling in such an overwhelmed funk that I it was really tough to write my posts. And to read others posts, well to you fellow bloggers out there, I am finally back in the groove and reading and commenting again! Expect so many witty responses and quips on your posts to come… okay, they seem witty and fun to me at least.
But I digress, this is a new year, not that it entirely matters (I am not a resolution making person), but I am so thankful that the holiday craziness is over (yep, it’s even busy over here in Thailand!) and now I can concentrate on making our blog awesome, or should I say even more awesome! I have chosen my new theme and I am working out the kinks (I think). Is this stuff difficult for anyone else? I feel like I am moving at a snail’s pace trying to learn how to do all this!
In other news, but connected to my blogs soon-to-be-updated look, I have decided that I am going to take an intensive online course in Web Design in the next couple of months. Who knows, I may really understand and love it and start designing my own themes for others to use! Cross your fingers, pray, visualize or think good thoughts for me, please, that I am able to grasp it. Sometimes I feel like I am a Neanderthal in the technology department.

There are three children on that scooter. Yes, children… I would say that none of them was over the age of 12. I was glad not to be on the road at that moment.
One photo from our awesome New Years Eve celebration with our good friends here in Phuket. They made the night really special for the kids and us grown-ups. It was a blast! I love that Z needed to wear a hard hat while making her pizza, it was dangerous work apparently.

And the perfect end to my week. A (very full) glass of (not so good, but better than nothing) white wine and lunch with friends at our favorite beach restaurant in Cape Panwa. This is paradise.
