Monday Montage: Mothers Day in California

It was Mothers Day yesterday here in America. I personally do not celebrate it for myself (what can I say, I am a non-conformist), but I do celebrate my mom. She is one fantastically strong woman, a loving and kind mother, and a better Nana than any grand kid could ask for.  I am so thankful for her.

My mom reveled in her day because almost all of her kids were here to celebrate with her (three out of four is pretty awesome), although I think that really she was most happy to have Zoë here. She would try to argue, but…

This week in my Monday Montage I just wanted to show you some of the normal things we see and do here. If you would like to see anything specific about Sonoma County, Santa Rosa, or California let me know and I will try to get a snapshot of it!

Happy Mothers’ Day!

Look at all these hues! I am so glad to be able to get makeup in my skin tone easily.

This is what part of Lakeport, California looks like from the car. It's pretty small.

This is the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory bear. He sits outside of all their establishments. Z loved him.

“If Heaven Ain’t Got Horses, I ain’t Going” … Well, ok, that’s a little sad, I guess I am not that much of a horse person?
My youngest sister Lisa came to see us! I think Z is a little excited to hang out with her.

Oh… Also, I have been working on my Pinterest page and am hoping to have it up and running soon. I am still figuring it out. Do you have any pins that you love that I should check out? Or a post that I should pin? Feel free to leave a link! Thanks again for reading and joining us on our travels!
