Monday Montage: Mondays…..

Yep, the dreaded Mondays. Seriously, who can say they like Mondays? I don’t think I have met anyone that can say that Monday doesn’t come with it’s own special form of hell most weeks.  Even here in Phuket, despite the fact that we live as expats and don’t work normal 9 to 5 jobs, it still feels like a Monday. The hustle and bustle of the new week is beginning before I am ready. I want to have more fun!

Because I realize how rough Mondays can be, I am so thankful that you all still read these Monday Montage posts. That you fit me into this often not-so-pleasant busy day is truly a joy to me. And I hope that I can be a joy to you as well, so from now on I plan on writing only positive things on Mondays. Moments of humor from my week, uplifting things I read or learned, or even maybe sharing one of my favorite positive posts from another blogger that I have read during the week.

Lately, I think my negativity has outweighed my positivity on Mondays. I am taking them back. Want to join me? Meet me here every Monday. Thanks for reading!

I had to start with our cute puppy sleeping on my lap. That's a great start to any Monday, right?

This is how chicken is sold in most supermarkets here, in the open air.

This is a bit tough to see, but this restaurant is called Thai Garden, and is a Korean restaurant (confusing right?). I cannot figure out if the building is supposed to look like a mortar and pestle or a bottle of wine in a bucket. Anyone want to hazard a guess?

Now it’s your turn! What do you think of the more positive Monday idea? Would you buy chicken from open air containers like the ones I showed above? What do you think the Korean restaurant is supposed to be? Leave a comment and join in the fun!
