Monday Montage: Feeling the Heat

It has been hot, hot, hot here in Phuket this week and I have been loving it! We have been feeling the heat, but the evenings have been absolutely lovely. We have done much this week that I am planning on writing about, so stay tuned!

We had pictures taken last week for the upcoming article that I was interviewed for, but there was a miscommunication with the photographer and so I cannot use the photos she took for quite some time, if at all. It was disappointing, especially after seeing how beautifully they turned out. But we will eventually get some updated photos of us up on here. The article is going to be awesome, I will make sure to share the link when it’s published.

I hope that spring time is reaching you all in the colder countries and that you are enjoying the sunshine and budding plants. For those of you here in Thailand, I hope that you are enjoying the last few hot months before the rainy season starts. Oh… and I hope you are preparing for Songkran! It’s only a few weeks away!

Chad and I got our caricature done at during the Old Town Festival in Phuket Town a couple of weeks ago. I think it turned out pretty awesome.

IMG_4286Z doesn’t look too happy to be standing next to these paper mache spiders, but she actually thought they were pretty cool. We went to the Phuket Butterfly Garden Insect Garden last week. The rumor is that this interesting place to learn about insects is closing soon. Z really had a fun time there, hopefully it will stay open.

One of the shots that I took at our photo shoot last week. Z, sunset on the beach, and a Thai flag… I love it!

Chad and Z on their way to see Cinderella in the theaters. They both loved it! And yes, Z is wearing her Cinderella costume. She apparently was quite the hit at the theater.

Now it’s your turn! What is the weather like where you are? Are you excited to see the sun again? Which picture that I shared today was your favorite? Leave a comment and join in the fun!

The caricature is great! Was glad to see you had a top on and it was Chad’s chest we were seeing. 🙂 Also enjoyed Zs Cinderella photo. Too bad about the photos that were taken. That’s disappointing. But yours are all good, just tough to get all three of you!

She truly is! I am amazed at how tall she is getting!
I think your whole family will enjoy Cinderella. Z and chad have been going on and on about it since they saw it. 🙂

Spring is just starting to peek her head around the corner here in Seoul, and I cannot wait! It’s so lovely to be able to go outside without layers and layers of clothes. I feel so freeeeee!!!! 😀

Looking forward to the article link, and that sucks about the pictures. Hopefully, the photographer will release the rights, even if just for the blog..:-)

I am hoping so. The photographer would have given them to me, but sent them all to the publisher, so It will just be an effort to get them released to me. But I have high hopes, because they are AWESOME! 🙂 it’s really just awesome to be included in something like this Though. It’s a learning experience.

I look forward to seeing your interview. That must have been really exciting even if the photos weren#t as expected. 🙁
It’s still pretty chilly in Berlin but the sun is beginning to shine and it’s about time. I love winter but even I’m fed up so I pruned the plum tree! In fact, I probably chopped most of it down but you’ve got to start somewhere, and the sun was shining so I thought some garden work might be in order LOL!

I miss plums so much! One can occasionally get them here, but they cost ones first born child, and since I love Z so much, I have passed on them every time. 🙂
