So, Christmas is 3 days away and I am 0% ready. Okay, I exaggerate a little… presents have been bought, tree is up and lit, craft projects have been completed (well two of them anyways), but still I feel unready. Maybe it is because we were just in Taiwan for 8 days and now have three days to get settled and feel Christmas-y. Maybe it is that I am way behind in my blogging (did you miss me on Friday? More on that later). Maybe it is the fact that getting Christmas wrap here is difficult (and a bit expensive). Maybe it is the fact that I miss Christmas morning with my family. It is probably all of the above.
So, on that note, I am going to share some pictures from the last couple of weeks and stop my negative blather. I hope that you all have a VERY Merry Christmas! Or had a very wonderful Hanukkah! That it was/is all that you wished for and wanted and more.
Sunset over the airplane wing on our way back to Thailand.
My one Christmas-y photo… My favorite Elf of the Shelf set up that I have done so far. Joy (our elf) and Z’s baby, Snowball, had a wild night eating chocolate, resulting in Snowballs passing out. My kind of night!
The Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall entrance at night. (In Taipei, Taiwan)
Z’s ready to fight with air guns (don’t worry, they only shoot soft foam balls) at the playground in the Core Pacific Living Mall Taipei, Taiwan.
This was almost correct… but look closely… oops. Such a bummer, but it sure is humorous.
Z loved playing with these frogs at the new Da’an Park MRT station in Taipei. Also can you tell it was a bit cold? She is even wearing gloves! Sooooo cold!
This balloon was just hanging out in front of Taipei 101, but what interested me in this picture was the way that the clouds seemed to be ripped in half. I thought it was a bit strange-looking.
Z waiting for her favorite drink treat, a bubble milk tea! Sometimes she even lets me share it with her!
Now it’s your turn! Are you all ready for Christmas? Are you excited? Dreading it? What is your favorite drink treat? Leave a comment and join in the conversation!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
