There are days that make life feel absolutely amazing, and the day I picked up my mom from Phuket airport was definitely one of those days. Hugging her after so long was probably the highlight of my year so far. I admit I even cried tears of happiness (thank goodness for waterproof eyeliner)!
So far we have had pretty good weather and have done much without pushing ourselves too hard. It has been a wonderful visit and I have decided that my dad will be moving here and my mom will not be leaving (You hear that Mom? Do it!).
In all reality I know that my mom will not be here forever, so I cherish every day that we get to spend together here.
