Monday Montage: 300!

This is my 300th post!

I can hardly believe that Chad, Z, and I are still on this adventure of ours! It has been quite the trip so far… I am so thankful that you all are still here and keeping me company through your reading our posts and your lovely comments (if you haven’t commented yet, here is you chance! Just go to the bottom of this post and say ‘hi!”).

Last year, I wrote about the last milestone ‘201 Posts!’ and gave some stats about our travels. I have decided to do the same today… and instead of sharing new photos, I am going to share some of my favorites from the last 100 posts. A little walk down memory lane. Thanks again for all the love and support that you have given us in the last 300 posts!

And Three To Go’s 300th Post Stats

NUMBER OF CITIES/TOWNS VISITED:  24 (with a few repeats)

Wow, what those stats show me is that we have not done enough traveling to new places in the past year! But don’t worry, we are remedying that by going to one new place every month. Last month we got hit with a quick trip to Bangkok so we couldn’t also go somewhere completely new, but the month before we found a little piece of amazingness called Koh Kho Kao that was such a pleasure! This month I have some plans to take my mom to see some new places and things, so the numbers will definitely start increasing! Hooray!

Chad, Z, and Charlie (not sure of his Mahouts name). He was a sweet 3 year old elephant that we fed many cucumbers to that day.

Now it’s your turn! If you could go anywhere in Southeast Asia, where would your choose and why? Leave a comment and join in the fun!

This is a fun post 🙂 Congrats on your milestone! Hopefully we get a chance to meet your mom while she’s here! If I were to choose any place in SE Asia to go right now, it would be Northern Thailand… or any other island for that matter. It’s funny how, once you settle, “life” just takes over. Bleh.

It’s so true Roma! Chiangmai is our next destination I hope. We have a friend living there so I am going to make him show us around the sites 🙂

B they truly are heaps… But not much changes since last year… Which gets my traveling bug pushed into high gear. 🙂 Must see new places! I am going to start with places close to home and move out from there. Miss you guys!

Love that sunset! Wow! I’m not sure…I’ll watch your travels to see about where we’d want to go. That sounds like a lot of travel days, but it seems to go so fast!

Well that is just the amount of time we have been outside of America… But really, Phuket has become home so it doesn’t really feel like traveling anymore 🙂

Wow! 300 posts-that’s crazy! Congrats!! I’m not sure where I would visit. I haven’t been off of this continent, so anywhere would be quite the adventure!

I have only been to Hong Kong once long ago, for an overnight visa run.. But we are definitely thinking of heading to South Korea in the winter so Chad can snowboard, Z can learn to snowboard, and I can learn to ski (or sit in the lodge and drink hot toddies). I have never been in snow like that and Z has never seen snow, so I am hoping it will happen. 🙂 Thanks Deanna!

Congratulations on your 300th post Jen! That is so awesome. 🙂 I’m so glad that I got to “know” you in the blogging sphere as it’s always nice to know what you guys are up to. More grease to your elbow and a further 300 posts!

I love South-East Asia or SEA! I’ve already been to Thailand many times, Vietnam, Singapore, and Indonesia (twice). Bali is still one of my favourite places and I really liked Vietnam so I would like to go back to Vietnam again (to introduce hubby & son), and I’m hearing good things about Malaysia and the Philippines so I’d like to go there next with stop-overs in Bangkok. Oh yeah. ‘Love the place!

I am chagrined to say that we haven’t been to Bali yet. Everyone I know that has been there has loved it. I think it may have to be on the short list.
When we traveled through Vietnam we were not that pleased with it, but that was 8 years ago… I think both Chad and I are wanting to give it another go. 🙂
