Monday Montage: Oops

You may have noticed last week, that I published my mom’s guest post on Thursday instead of Friday by mistake.  Yep, that was me thinking it was Friday and only realizing much after I published. Oops. Have you ever rushed a Friday? Apparently I was ready for it a day early last week.

Anyways, this week I am ready to get back to normal (not that anything is any different really except for my frame of mind I guess) and actually publish my posts on the right days! Woo Hoo! So here is my Monday post, on Monday!

I love the idea of water slides and pools with brunch! Is that a common occurrence in Thailand? If so one more reason to visit. 🙂

It is fairly common for resorts to have a Sunday brunch, then offering the use of their facilities after the brunch is over. Some have slides, some are just amazing views and pools. All of them are fun though!

I love your pictures – It always amazes me how similar things look overseas too.

It is very similar in many ways… I will try to start photographing the differences… Like the amount of trash on the roads… They would make a fortune if they fined littering here like they do in California 😉

Those water slides look so much fun! I have always loved sitting on the fun furniture at the home improvement stores, especially the gliders.

Love that Harry Potter cover (I just re-read the whole series). I was never a huge fan of the covers on the U.S. editions – too cartoony.

I honestly have never read them (I know, I know) but my family and husband are huge Harry Potter fans… Well I guess most people are really, right! I do love seeing books I know in Thai though… Reminds me of home for some reason.

Since living abroad I’ve noticed that there are different book covers for different regions and countries. I suppose this makes sense from a marketing point of view.

Exactly, different parts of the books and different types of artwork will be more popular with different cultures. It makes them fun to collect as well…
Though it would be a rather expensive hobby. 🙂

I love waterslides. Like you and Disney World/Land. 🙂 I really liked the photo of Z “touching.” How big of a deal is it when the kids are “tall enough!” They are just so proud!—I never know what day of the week it is! Agh! I admire you so much for the regular posting on Mondays and Fridays! (Thursday is close enough to Friday for me. I didn’t catch the difference. Ha!)–Have a super day!

You got a dog!! How fun! Was the brunch pricey? I’m thinking that might be a fun thing to do if we were visiting and staying at a vacation apartment that didn’t have breakfast or a waterslide (because any apartment with those things would obviously be out of my budget 🙂 ).

Same here for sure! This particular brunch was 350 baht per adult and kids under are free (most brunches are this way), kids between 6- 12 are half price I think. That’s about $20 U.S. For a whole day of activities and food

Lol, my son was so disappointed the last time we went for a swim just in a normal pool because there was NO water slide… I think he might enjoy Chads company 🙂

We keep trying to get z to try, but she is a girl that does things in her own time (like her momma!). 🙂
