Back and in the Future!

2016! Happy New Year!

It’s here! A new year! A new start… and supposedly it should be way more futuristic, right?! I know it is a total cliché, but I continue to hold out hope for a kitchen that does all my cooking with the touch of a button. Or clothes that fit themselves to ones body… that sure would have been nice after the Christmas brunch. Pants that expand after a large meal and still look stylish, why hasn’t this been done yet!!! Seriously I would pay so much money for a pair of pants like that, heck, I would be happy to find any pants that fit me perfectly.  Yep, another thing that isn’t so easy to find here in Phuket. I guess people my height and size in Phuket are expected to have a bowl full of jelly for a belly.

But I digress… I hope that your holiday was fantastic! I missed you all! You may have noticed that I was gone for a little while during the holidays. It was an unplanned hiatus but it was so refreshing just enjoying my family and our time together. I will write more about our holidays on Friday, but for now, here are some of the photos I took this past couple of weeks.

Happy New Year everyone, thank you for staying with me and reading my posts, your friendship and our  chat’s mean so much to me!

xoxoxo, Jenny

Z and I went and had a mani/pedi together for the first time! She loved it, as you can see by the contented look on her face.

Santa's helper came to Phuket! An incredibly nice dad in the group was willing to dress up in this heavy outfit for the kids, it was awesome.

A-dorable! OMG. Now that Z’s getting older you can really see how much she resembles you and Chad. At first I thought, she definitely looks like Chad, but then I started to see more of you in her? What do you guys think? Who does she act more like?

Sounds like a lovely holiday. Nice one over here as well. Blogging breaks are a necessity, methinks. And now it feels like everyone is back! Happy New Year Jenny!

She is a real mix of us, I think she mostly looks like me, but some of her expressions are completely Chad. Personality wise she is a complete individual. 🙂 she is awesome.
      Happy new year Lani!

I swear, minus Batman, we had the same holiday! Santa, gifts, Star Wars, a pedi for me, etc. It was wonderful.
